TOPIC: Excellence, The Place Of God’s Children (Seeds Of Destiny 16 December 2022)
SCRIPTURE: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To exist in distinction and excellence is to live a life of worth and merit.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2022 MESSAGE:
Our anchor Scripture reveals that the life of distinction or excellence is God’s Will for His children. It is an abomination to be a mediocre in life and still claim to be a child of the excellent God. To represent God well on earth, we must be excellent in all areas of life.
What does it mean to be excellent?
It means existence in quality; existence that has worth and merit.
Existence in distinction or excellence means existence in quality; it is a worthy and meritorious existence.
In military and civil services, when a person does very well, one of the awards they usually give to the person is called meritorious service award. This is because the person has served meritoriously; and is being distinguished from others by a merit award.
So, existence in distinction or excellence is a meritorious existence. It is living a life of quality. It is the refusal to live an inferior, low-standard, mediocre or average life.
To exist in distinction and excellence is to live a life of worth and merit; it is the refusal to live a wasted or useless life on earth. It is living a distinguished life that is worthy of emulation. To live a life of excellence is to live meritoriously.
Remember this: To exist in distinction and excellence is to live a life of worth and merit.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Refuse an average or low level existence.
Be the best in anything you do.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the Grace to show forth Your Nature of excellence and quality to my world. Deliver me from the life of average or mediocre existence, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
