Dunamis seed of destiny

ACCESSING GOD’S WAYS BY STUDYING HIS WORD   March 26, 2023   •     Seeds of Destiny SCRIPTURE: Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 1Timothy 4:13 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The habitual study of the Word is an attribute of greatness. It has been established that the Word of God is the builder of life and destiny. Your destiny is not in view when the Word is out of place in your life. To neglect the Word is to forfeit your destiny. This means, the diligent study of the Word is necessary for the fulfilment of destiny (2 Timothy 2:15, John 5:39). Now, what does it mean to study the Word of God? To study the Word of God is to access the ways, thoughts, principles and precepts of God from His Book in order to walk better with Him on earth. When you study God’s Word, you are trying to know what He likes, how He thinks, what His principles are, what you are allowed to do, what you are forbidden from doing, etc. This is what studying the Word of God is about. It is

GREAT TITHERS IN CONTEMPORARY HISTORY

 December 11, 2022 •  Seeds of Destiny

SCRIPTURE: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One key to accessing, experiencing and maintaining open heavens is the practice of tithing.

Open heaven is the covenant portion of the children of God. The heaven opened on Jesus Christ before He began His earthly Ministry (Luke 3:21).

Open heaven is the secret of profitable existence and impactful destiny.

Now, one key to accessing, experiencing and maintaining open heavens is the practice of tithing. (Malachi 3:8-11).

It is important to know that there were, and still are, great, wealthy and reputable business men in contemporary times who paid their tithe consistently.

One of them was Henry Parsons Crowell, the founder of Quaker Oats Company; he was a consistent tither.

D. L. Moody, a preacher, quoted Henry Parsons Crowell in his message thus, “I cannot be a preacher but I can be a good business man. O God, if you will let me make money, I will use it for Your Service.”

It is said that for over 40 years, he directed over 60 – 70% of his income toward God’s causes, having advanced beyond the initial ten per cent of his income as tithe.

Another tither in contemporary history was William Colgate. He was the Owner of Colgate-Palmolive; he was brutally committed to tithing. He started giving God ten percent of his income; then, he grew and began to give twenty percent. He grew from giving 20% to 30%, and then to 40%. Finally, after he had made enough money to live on for the rest of his life, every profit he got, 100% of it went to the Kingdom of God. So, the tithe is small compared to what real covenant people practise.

Remember this: One key to accessing, experiencing and maintaining open heavens is the practice of tithing.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Go through today’s message once again prayerfully.

2. Make up your mind to be consistent in tithing.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to practise tithing consistently, Lord in Jesus Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE MATTER OF THE TITHE.

QUOTE: Do not spend the money that enters your hand until God has been given His portion. That portion is what is called ‘the tithe’. Culled from “21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: 2 Timothy 2-4

AMAZING FACT: Despite their lack of visible ears, penguins have excellent hearing.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: I decree the open heavens on your life, finances and resources in this season in Jesus’ Name.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. – Ephesians 6:13-17 The Bible teaches that as believers, you and I are to occupy until Jesus comes. Occupy is a military term meaning to hold possession, or control, of conquered troops and territory. If we’re to do that effectively, mo

The Secrets of Growth

THE SECRET OF GROWTH by  Dr. Ed Young Scripture:  1 Kings 1:1-4 ,  1 Kings 1:8-53 ,  2 Peter 3:18 The Secret of Growth Ed Young 2 Peter 3:18 I've been on vacation these weeks. I haven't preached in so long, I told one of my boys that I may preach like Paul. And sometime he just preached all night. My son said, ''Yeah, but one fellow went to sleep in the window and fell out of the window and was killed.'' I said, ''Yeah, but Paul went out and raised him from the dead and put him back in the window and kept on preaching.'' My son said, ''When you can do that, you can preach all night, too, Daddy.'' If you'd open your Bibles - not to the scripture mentioned, though that's one of the very important scriptures - to II Corinthians instead, Chapter 3, Verse 18. Mr. Hamlet's announcement about our television ministry is an extremely important thing. I remember our first Television Committee in this church dreamed of being on
